With the improvement of living standards in China, the requirements of interior decoration for ceramic products are getting higher and higher. The quality is good, the grade is high, the whiteness is elegant, and the price is cheap. It has become the pursuit of the majority of consumers. As we all know, the grade of the product lies in its appearance and endoplasmic quality. One of the important factors affecting the appearance and the endoplasm of ceramic products is the level of iron content in ceramic materials. Although iron plays an important role in the coloring process of ceramics, the production of white or light-colored glazed tiles and sanitary ware and pure white polished tiles have taken iron removal as an important process.

The basic principle of the iron remover in the ceramic industry: The magnetic field is attractive to ferromagnetic materials. The equipment that separates the iron minerals from the raw materials is called the iron remover, also called the magnetic separator. The basic condition for achieving the purpose of sorting is the magnetic field's attractiveness to ferromagnetic materials. Separators are devices that generate strong magnetic fields and are often used with conveyors such as belt conveyors and vibratory conveyors. It can remove ferromagnetic substances with a weight of 0.1-35kg mixed in the bulk material, with an iron removal rate of 95%. It plays a reliable role in protecting the grinder, crusher and conveyor belt. 

Therefore, when using the iron remover, it is necessary to carefully grasp the "four degrees" (concentration, viscosity, speed, and grain size) of the slurry. The particle size should be determined by the choice of aperture of the screen mesh; the speed is directly related to the flow; the viscosity is related to the slurry concentration, properties and additives; the concentration is related to the water ratio. A practical iron remover should have the following three conditions: 1 a sufficiently strong magnetic field source; 2 a sufficient contact area to secure the opportunity and place for absorbing prey; 3 timely and effective cleaning (separation) of ferromagnetic impurities that have been absorbed.

At present, the iron remover pays more and more attention to the problem of iron removal in the ceramic industry, and the use occasion of the iron remover is expanding, from the original glaze iron removal to the blank and the iron removal. Need more and more iron products, including daily-use pottery, sanitary ware and various types of pale white glazed wall tiles, polished tiles and so on. Iron removal requirements are also getting higher and higher. The iron removal equipment has the advantages of strong magnetic separation ability, long service life, high automation degree, and more economical and applicable new iron removal products.
