Our Magnetic Coolant Separators employ high-intensity ferrite or rare earth magnets within a fully energized rotating drum to continuously remove ferrous particles from the liquid flow. These systems are often used as a pre-filter to limit contaminants reaching subsequent filtration equipment.

Coolant with iron particles flows by gravity from the grinding machine into the inlet of the separator. The coolant with iron impurities comes into contact with the magnetic drum and separates all iron particles. The continuously purified coolant safeguards the product's surface finish, reduces grinding wheel wear, and extends the service life of the coolant.
