Permanent Drum Magnetic Separator Description
CTS (N.B) series permanent magnet drum magnetic separator is suitable for wet beneficiation of fine particles of strong magnetic minerals, or the removal of mixed strong magnetic minerals from non-magnetic minerals. This machine can continuously feed and discharge ore, has a large magnetic field depth, a large working gap, and has high processing capacity.
The principle is that when the slurry enters the magnetic field area, the highly magnetic minerals are adsorbed on the surface of the cylinder, the weakly magnetic and non-magnetic minerals are thrown off and discharged, and the highly magnetic minerals adsorbed on the surface of the cylinder rotate with the cylinder and are carried away. After leaving the magnetic field area, flush water into the concentrate tank to complete the sorting operation.
Permanent Drum Magnetic Separator Features
The same cylinder can be equipped with three types of tanks, namely downstream tank (CTS), countercurrent tank (CTN) and semi-countercurrent tank (CTB), to adapt to different mineral processing requirements.
The co-flow tank is suitable for roughing and concentrating ores with a particle size of 0.1-6mm.
The counterflow tank is suitable for roughing and sweeping of ores with a particle size of 0.1-0.6mm, as well as heavy medium recovery in the coal preparation industry.
The semi-countercurrent flow tank is suitable for roughing and concentrating ores with a particle size of 05-1mm.
