The Lifting Clutch Description
The Lifting Clutch has a round main body with a protruding lever arm and a high strength bail. The main body has a "T" slot that engages the head of a dogbone anchor. The combined rotation capabilities of the main body and the bail allow a precast panel to be lifted, turned, tilted, and/or rotated while under load.
Lifting clutches are used for lifting and handling head anchors. The lifting clutch is manufactured of high alloy steel and tested according to safety factors 3 times the working load. The construction ensures the clutch self-locking when applying upward forces ensures a tight and safe connection to the spherical head lifting anchor. The allowable loads for the individual cases can be taken from the tables in the following table. Accident prevention regulations of the country of use must always be observed, especially those for the use of cranes and lifting equipment.
A lifting clutch is a heavy-duty lifting device for load groups from 1.3-32.0 tons as standard. Lifting clutches are designed and manufactured in accordance with EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and VDI/BV-BS 6205. The lifting clutches meet the requirements for the safe lifting and handling of concrete elements.

Application of Lifting Clutch
Lifting clutch are made for primary application of lifting precast concrete components.

Packing
For the small size packaged in bags and then in plywood case, for big size will be packaged in plywood cases directly.
Tensile Testing:
All production process according to ISO9001 standard, we will make tensile testing within in production process as QCM and make dimension inspeciton, tensile testing before shipment and issue EATHU's report for our client.
Test Report

Inspection Before Use
The pre-use check for hooks should cover the following:
1. The WLL should be clearly marked.
2. The safety catch should be in place and functioning correctly.
3. The hook should be checked for any distortion, cracking and excessive wear or corrosion.
NOTE: The wear on the bearing surface of the hook should not exceed 8% of the nominal dimension.
4. Check that the opening of the hook is within the manufacturers parameters. If the hook is opened excessively it is a sign that it has been point loaded or overloaded.
5. Moving parts such as release cams should be checked for free movement.
6. If the hook is a ball bearing swivel hook check that the hook is swivelling freely and that the bearing is not making any unusual noises.
Unusual noises are often a sign of bearing fatigue or bearing failure.
7. If the hook has a threaded machined shank ensure that the thread is in good order and that the nut is turning freely on the thread
