There are many reasons why the magnetic separator does not absorb iron. Generally speaking, it is formed because the magnetic force cannot reach. Because many customers buy products, in order to save costs, the product quality is not ideal, so the iron remover is Ineffective. In addition to the price and convenience, what are the reasons for not attracting iron?
1. The influence of iron parts near the magnetic field of the magnetic filter on the iron removal effect
The iron removal of the electromagnetic iron remover is a complex physical process, and the iron removal effect will be affected after the iron parts around the equipment are magnetized.
2. The influence of the temperature rise of the magnetic separator on the iron removal effect
The strength of the magnetic field is proportional to the current, and the current is inversely proportional to the resistance. The resistance of the energized coil increases with the increase in temperature. Therefore, with the extension of the energization time, the temperature of the energized coil continues to rise, and its resistance increases. The corresponding current will decrease, resulting in a weakening of the magnetic field strength until a dynamic equilibrium is reached. Therefore, the good cooling effect of the electromagnet is an important factor to keep its field strength from decreasing sharply. The first is to select the iron remover with a good heat dissipation effect; the second is to adopt the arrangement of double dust collectors to use in turn, to cool down in time, to avoid the intermittent iron removal due to the heating of the iron remover during coal unloading.
3. Influence of coal seam thickness on iron removal effect
In order to remove the iron parts in the coal on the conveyor belt, the magnetic separator needs to overcome the self-weight of the iron parts, the gravity of the coal layer covered on the parts, the friction force of the layer on the iron parts, and the additional attraction force of the magnetized iron objects in the field to the iron parts. The closer the iron piece is to the magnetic jig of the disk, the greater the suction force and the smaller the other negative effects. Therefore, the field strength to keep the iron piece from falling is higher than the field strength required to attract the iron piece from the coal seam. The strength is much smaller, so in order to control the temperature rise of the equipment and save energy at the same time, a metal detector can be installed before the iron remover. When there are iron parts in the conveyor belt, the metal detector will send a signal to the iron remover, so that strong magnetism is generated in the iron removal equipment, and the iron parts are attracted. Under normal circumstances, the iron removal equipment only needs to generate a magnetic field to ensure that the iron pieces do not fall off. In order to ensure the reliability of the metal detector, two detectors can be used in parallel. As long as one detector detects an iron piece, the electromagnetic iron remover will immediately generate strong magnetism.
If the magnetic separator can play a better role, it is necessary to avoid the above reasons. Secondly, in the usual use, we must pay attention to regular cleaning work to ensure that the equipment has been washed under good iron removal.
