Hump Magnetic Separator MP-SWFHM series – Ceramic & Ferrite Hump magnet is used to remove large pieces of tramp irons as well as ferrous fragments from gravity-flow materials or material flow activated by the wind in enclosed flow lines before they reach storage bins or process equipment.Ideal for ferrous tramp metal separation in gravity systems, Hump Magnet separators are adaptable to either round pipe or rectangular chute transfer lines.

How does it work?
The hinged magnets are gasketed and clamped tightly to the Magnetic hump housing for maximum product and dust containment, during the processing operation. The Magnetic Hump swing is open for the removal of captured tramp metal. The hump magnet's angled shape directs product flow into the magnetic field and helps to prevent build-up and bridging. Additionally, the design of a hump magnet assists in slowing material down, as it forces the material to move through the hump in a zig-zag pattern.

The Magnetic Hump employs two heavy-duty diverter-equipped Spout Magnets positioned so that product flowing through the Magnetic hump is forced into the magnetic fields. Magnetic humps take advantage of the offset flow of the material and insure maximum tramp metal removal from the product flow. The Magnetic Hump Is Ideal for ferrous tramp metal separation in gravity systems. GME Magnetic Hump separators are adaptable to either round pipe or rectangular chute transfer lines.
