Rubber-coated neodymium magnets give great durability and high friction. The rubber coating acts as a protection for the Neodymium Magnet against chipping and exposure to liquids. Rubber-coated neodymium magnets are used in many holding applications.
These rubber pot magnets have an external thread. Strong Neodymium Magnet is embedded in a steel Pot. The steel pot increases the adhesive force of the magnet in direct contact with a thick iron surface. If there is no direct contact with the counterpart, or if the steel plate is thin, painted, or rough, the pot magnet will be much less strained.
The rubber-coated magnets generally have three types, such as external thread rubber-coated magnets, rubber-coated magnets with internal thread stud, and rubber-coated magnets with low female thread.
