The magnets have a casing of soft iron that ensures a magnetic cover. A protective coating has been added to prevent corrosion.
The NdFeB pot magnets can be used up to a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. At this temperature there is a loss of magnetic force of 10 to 20%. As soon as the magnet has cooled off to room temperature, the magnetic force will recover to the normal values.
