How the NdFeB magnetic anti-corrosion

Corrosion is widely used in many industries, and it is no exception in the NdFeB magnet industry because NdFeB magnets are very susceptible to corrosion. Therefore, most of the finished products are electroplated or painted. Conventional surface treatments include: nickel plating (nickel copper nickel), galvanizing, aluminum plating, electrophoresis, and the like. If working in a closed environment, phosphating can also be used.

Anti-corrosion technique of NdFeB magnet

NdFeB magnetism is a magnet product that is widely used and developed rapidly. NdFeB has been widely used since its invention, but it has been more than 20 years. Due to its high magnetic properties and ease of processing, the price is not very high, so the application field is expanding rapidly. At present, commercial NdFeB, the magnetic energy product can reach 50MGOe, which is 10 times that of ferrite.

Compared with permanent magnet materials such as ferrite, NdFeB magnet has very good magnetic properties. Its magnetic energy product is much higher than other magnets, and it can be called "one generation magnetic king". NdFeB magnet has a very high saturation magnetization Bs (Bs=16KGs) and a magnetocrystalline anisotropy field HA (HA=73KOe). NdFeB magnet products are widely used in packaging, toys, gift crafts, fitness magnetrons. Cars, motors, micro-motors, computers, instruments, meters, motorcycles, cameras, clocks, audio, home appliances, office automation, magnetic therapy, and everyday life.

NdFeB magnetism is also a powder metallurgy product, and the processing method is similar to that of samarium cobalt. At present, the maximum working temperature of NdFeB is around 180 degrees Celsius. If it is a harsh environment, it is generally recommended not to exceed 140 degrees Celsius.

The above is the anti-corrosion technique of NdFeB magnets that we introduced in detail for everyone. Due to the high magnetic properties of NdFeB, in many cases, it is used to replace other magnetic materials to reduce the volume of the product. If you use a ferrite magnet, the current size of the phone, I am afraid it will not be less than half a brick.
