Electromagnetic iron separator cooling method


Electromagnetic iron separator is divided into air-cooled and oil-cooled.

The advantages of air-cooled electromagnetic iron separators are good cooling effect, low temperature rise, small gap between cold and hot magnetic properties, and low cost; the disadvantages are poor sealing performance, direct contact between the windings and air, corrosion resistance, and dust accumulation. Not suitable for coastal salt fog environment.


The advantages of the oil-cooled electromagnetic iron separator are good sealing, good cooling effect, low temperature rise, small gap between cold and hot magnetic properties, and low cost; the disadvantage is that the requirements for the thermal oil are high (the temperature of the iron remover is higher than that of ordinary oil The temperature rise of the transformer requires the user to replace it regularly, otherwise it may damage the insulation due to deterioration of the thermal oil.
